U.S. News and World Report has ranked the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's accounting program, offered through the Kenan-Flagler Business School, 12th in the nation. Bloomberg BusinessWeek has ranked the Kenan-Flagler Business School 3rd in the nation for public undergraduate programs, 4th for academic quality, 8th for student satisfaction, and an A+ grade in teaching, job placement, facilities and service. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools both accredit the Kenan-Flagler Business School. The core set of skills the accounting program emphasizes for students are problem solving, strategic thinking, analytical skills, oral and written communication, leadership and teamwork. Kenan-Flagler Business School has three Undergraduate Global Programs, which allow students to spend a semester abroad, they are the Semester Exchange Program, the Global Immersion Electives and the GLOBE Program.
