Each year, business majors have access to more than 500 internship and job postings, 100 of which are accounting-specific. This abundance of employment opportunities is strengthened by on-campus employment events, like career fairs and recruiting sessions.

The School of Business Administration’s Advising and Career Services facilitates many of these programs, in addition to hosting a variety of professional workshops and organizing the largest business mentorship program in the Pacific Northwest. With help from the Advising and Career Services’ staff, students can secure internships in their anticipated areas of employment.

Students are also encouraged to join one of the School of Business Administration’s many student clubs, including Portland State’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, a national honor organization for high-achieving accounting students. The club hosts an annual Meet the Firms event, as well as other more informal networking opportunities.
