The undergraduate Accounting program offered in the J.M. Tull School of Accounting, housed within University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, is ranked 6th in the U.S. by Public Accounting Report and 17th by U.S. News and World Report. Students at the J.M. Tull School of Accounting consistently have the some of the highest scores on the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam at two and a half to three times higher than the national average. Tull School of Accounting places strong emphasis on national service and the faculty is known for setting high standards in the classroom. Internships are not required, but are strongly encouraged. University of Georgia undergraduates may apply for admission to the graduate school during their senior year and typically complete the Master of Accounting in only one additional academic year.
