Students at the J.M. Tull School of Accounting consistently have the some of the highest scores on the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam at two and a half to three times higher than the national average. Tull School of Accounting places strong emphasis on national service and the faculty is known for setting high standards in the classroom. Internships are not required, but are strongly encouraged. University of Georgia undergraduates may apply for admission to the graduate school during their senior year and typically complete the Master of Accounting in only one additional academic year.

Wesleyan College's Institute of Management Accountants is a very good place for students to research the Certified Managerial Accountant designation.
