The undergraduate accounting program at Colorado State University’s College of Business is designed to produce competent accounting professionals who are leaders in their field.
Accounting students receive a strong foundation in the liberal arts, and then focus on business and accounting coursework as their education progresses. In the interest of preparing students for successful accounting careers, the state-of-the-art curriculum makes an effort to stay abreast of the constantly-evolving professional landscape. Completion of the program also fulfills the education requirement for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in Colorado — although students hoping to practice in other states will require additional education.
